New concept promises to streamline exhibitor experience.
Organisers of next year’s Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) have overhauled the way exhibitors take part in the event. The new vision aims to drive commercial outcomes through challenging previous conventions and drilling down to the fundamental purpose of AIME – to bring the right buyers to the right exhibitors.
AIME event director, Jay Martens, says they are responding to the industry’s demand for change. “We are re-imagining AIME so that it really meets the needs of our exhibitors and our buyers to once again have an event that is really worth attending.”
The new exhibitor packages include 32 pre-scheduled appointments with quality, vetted international and local buyers, and access to all social and networking events and the Knowledge Program.
According to Martens, exhibitors will be presented in sleek new stands (pictured), developed with the award-winning design team from Decorative Events & Exhibitions. This is so exhibitors can focus their marketing resources and energy to doing business on the show floor.
AIME understands that the ‘one-size-fits-all approach’ won’t be suitable for all exhibitors and will continue to offer options for those who prefer to design and build their own stand.
Now managed by Talk2 Media & Events, AIME will be the first event to kick off the 2019 business events calendar, running from 18 to 20 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
