Creative brand activation agency expands into Southeast Asia.
Brand activation agency, Because, has marked its entry into Southeast Asia with the opening of a Singapore office.
The move to Singapore is set to reinforce the agency’s position as global brand experience specialist. Originally based in a small office in London, the agency has now grown to a global group of creative agencies across seven markets.
“Our global vision is quite simple – we want to be live on the ground in the countries we like to visit with people we like to work with,” says business director, Gwyn Humphreys. “We have a fantastic plan in place in Singapore, and we are extremely excited by all the opportunities the Southeast Asia region presents for our business.”
Humphreys recently moved to Singapore from the UK and brings with him nearly 15 years of experience delivering award-winning campaigns across a multitude of sectors. Gwyn has managed clients such as Heineken, LEGO, General Mills and BP, and will now lead the office in Singapore and spearhead all client work in the region.
Working with immersive tech, the fully-integrated agency recently created the ‘Virtual Reality Tiger Experience’ for WWF to highlight current threats to the tiger, and a multi-sensory pop-up experience for Qatar Airways. Because has worked with brands such as Coca-Cola, LEGO, and Heineken.
To mark its arrival in Singapore, and to educate brand marketers on the power of live experiences, Because will host a free experiential and virtual masterclass in on Thursday, 21 March at The Warehouse Hotel. The session will demonstrate how digital amplification, influencer engagement and virtual/augmented reality can deliver experiential campaigns.
