Plug-and-play tech, modular meeting spaces and a new F&B philosophy.
Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria, operated by SingEx Venues, has revealed a refreshed brand as well as new facilities and services in an effort to strengthen its commitment towards enabling communities.
SingEx CEO, Aloysius Arlando said its new ‘Your Community EXPOrience’ brand is built on “our conviction that we are community enablers”.
He said: “This philosophy is also applied to how we develop talent not just within the SingEx organisation, but also the wider MICE community. People are at the heart of our business; and our commitment towards grooming future talent is something that we take seriously.”
One of the new offerings is ApeX, a plug-and-play high-tech plenary hall with customisable audio-visual and digital elements, telescoping seating, a grand stage and a 54m x 5m screen for impactful presentations.
For greater flexibility, the venue offers the FleX modular meeting village (main) made up of sustainable and acoustically treated “building block” spaces that can be customised according to any theme, layout and space requirements.
Meanwhile, Xpert is an in-house, one-stop event planning service that coordinates the full range of event products and services. Exhibitors will also benefit from the newly-launched online portal, the ‘Exhibitor Service Centre’, where they can book the venue’s many offerings quickly and easily.
This new range of services complements the venue’s new farm-to-table food and beverage philosophy. Through a combination of culinary arts, research and development, its central production kitchen, Kinetic Kitchen, serves the K2 private dining room as well as one77°, a bistro café showcasing fusion
Singaporean cuisine (below).
Arlando said: “The launch of these new offerings at the venue will be pivotal in our journey to facilitating, fostering, nurturing and growing the communities that we serve, as well as strengthen our position at the intersection of industries to bring about convergence and value creation, leading to new discoveries.”
He believes Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria has the potential to be a nexus of innovation for Singapore’s Eastern precinct, which was close to Changi Airport, universities and fintech centres.
“Singapore EXPO & MAX Atria can play an active role in drawing out enterprises and entrepreneurs, helping them to realise their commercial potential by providing an environment of experimentation and cross-industry collaboration using the event platform,” he said.
