In support of professional development and getting the business events industry in APAC ready to restart the economy, BEA has partnered with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) to offer a special rate for corporate and association event planners to attend the inaugural Convening Asia Pacific.
On Tuesday, 10 November 2020, PCMA is hosting a hybrid event for the APAC region, featuring renowned speakers from Google, The Entourage, George P. Johnson, Amway China, Jack Morton, Australian Grand Prix Corporation and more.
The content has been designed to address the outcomes of research that highlights the top needs of business events professionals today: reskilling and upskilling, designing event experiences and commercialisation in a digital space.
Six sessions called ‘Conversations with the Experts’ are exclusive for Digital/on-demand attendees. These deep dive sessions are with key regional experts to get updates on what they’re doing, including Bert Li from Amway China, Paula Rowntree from Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Frankie Gao from MCI China, Deborah Caldwell from Bank of America, and Stephen Zhang from Manulife-Sinochem to name a few.

PCMA has engaged Interprefy to deliver live and simultaneous translations of the presentations from English into Japanese, Korean and Mandarin, for the entirety of the event.
The PCMA Foundation is granting scholarships for individuals to attend Convening Asia Pacific: The Global Recovery Forum either in-person in Sydney or digitally; each scholarship covers the cost of the event registration.
