The IT&CMA 2017 trade show is seeing an increased demand for exhibition space and a stronger showcase of cruise companies in its 25th year of building brands and connections.
Exhibiting national tourism organisations (NTOs) and convention bureaux (CVBs) have reported requests from their private sectors for more slots under national pavilions. Taiwan pavilion has expanded by 100 percent, Macao expects more than 30 private sector co-exhibitors, one of its largest contingents ever, while Chiangmai and Lanna have come together to commit a whopping 200 sq m. They join Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Dubai Business Events, Korea Tourism Organisation, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), Osaka Convention and Tourism Bureau, Sapporo Convention Bureau, Tourism Promotion Board Philippines (TPB), and many more, in this year’s excellent showing.
2016’s strong showcase of cruise companies continues to roll over on to 2017 with confirmed participation from international corporations. such as Worldwide Cruise Associates, Royal Caribbean International, and newcomers Silversea Cruises. Collectively, they will make up more than 300 exhibiting companies expected to be exhibiting at IT&CMA and CTW Asia-Pacific from September 26-28, 2017 at the Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Thailand.
To stand out in the competition, NTOs and CVBs are also heightening the extent of their participation and brand-building for IT&CMA 2017, with some building on IT&CM Events’ connections and event experience to put together roadshows, familiarisation programmes and networking events leading up to and around the 25th-anniversary edition.
