With its blend of past and future, Tokyo fascinates with its traditional culture, precise business ethics and unbridled passion for technology. Here, we shine the spotlight on some of the unique venues in Japan’s capital city.
Tokyo has everything to ask of a city, overflowing with unique historic and cultural venues such as museums, temples and shrines, Japanese gardens and theme parks that seem picture perfect for any business event.
Nogi-jinja Shrine is a serene oasis set in the heart of Tokyo. The Inner Shrine and shrine grounds can be hired out exclusively for company events or incentive tours. To add delight to your event, gagaku ancient court music can be performed at ceremonies in the Inner Shrine, or a demonstration of kagami-biraki, a traditional ceremony for breaking open a sake barrel to wish for good luck and prosperity. NOGI KAIKAN, a large reception space, is also available for banquets or buffets. Traditional Japanese culture in an authentic setting.
Roppongi Hills Arena and Mohri Garden
A large outdoor space with a giant retractable roof, this space can be used for a variety of purposes such as corporate events, private parties and receptions. Spice things up with a live music show, or live performance since this is Roppongi, one of the world’s leading entertainment districts. You can also enjoy a pleasant stroll through the adjoining Mohri Garden, a picturesque Japanese garden in the heart of Tokyo.
Toranomon Hills is one of Tokyo’s new landmarks. The outdoor Oval Plaza is perfect for a variety of events including corporate events, press events and private functions. You can link a private event at the Oval Plaza with a conference, seminar or a product launch at the TORANOMON HILLS FORUM conference venue inside Toranomon Hills, or the café adjacent to the Oval Plaza.
This huge 750 square meter tranquil open space, right in the middle of ARK Hills in the hustle and bustle Roppongi district, is ideal for receptions or product launches. The retractable roof covering the whole space allows for year-round use of the facility, come rain or shine.
Urbane and spacious, the archetypal high ceilings, and huge open spaces of Warehouse TERRADA make it a perfect setting for large exhibitions, product launches and receptions. Or how about a party on board the T-LOTUS M, designed as a boat moored in a Tokyo canal, under the direction of world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma? An ideal venue for a one-of-a-kind, all aboard party on three floors: basement, first floor and roof deck.
